Israel-Palestine

In November 2024, the Justice and Accountability Unit set up an Israel-Palestine team with the intent of replicating the success of the Yemen and Ukraine Projects. As with the other projects, the aim of this team is to collect and verify open source information with the intent to use it as evidence for accountability purposes. 

Using lessons learned from past work, this project has been streamlined and focuses almost entirely on the collection and verification of information in response to requests for information. Unlike the Ukraine Civilian Harm database, there will be no public output from this project unless this information is disclosed in court settings.
